BlueJay could not function without our amazing team of talented individuals. We as an organization take pride in recognizing everyone working on our productions, whether it be onstage, behind the scenes, or on our Production (Executive) Board. The people below work hard to make BlueJay unique and we all strive toward creating a better theatrical production team.

Lulu Royce & JJ Moore
Co-Artistic Directors

Lulu Royce (she/her)
BFA Acting ‘26.
She is the proud Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of BlueJay Theater Collective alongside her best friend JJ. She directed the first production through BlueJay, Dog Sees God, In the fall of 2023 (EVVY Award for Outstanding Directing for Stage), and went on to direct Fun Home later that following spring through MTAG. Her Emerson Stage acting credits include, POTUS (Jean) and A Doll’s House (Anne-Marie & U/S Nora). Student theater acting credits include: Hot Dam! (Brody the Boyscout Kaplan), Five Times in One Night (Laura).

JJ Moore (they/them)
BFA Acting ‘26
Emerson Stage Credits: POTUS (Dusty understudy), a Dolls House (Mrs. Linde, Anne-Marie, Helene understudy). Emerson College credits: The Revolutionists (Marie Antoinette) for Emerson Company, Significant Other (Director) for BlueJay Theater Collective, Hot Dam (really reasonable citizen) for MTAG, Marilyn (Jamie and writer ), student film.

Sasha Salins

BFA Stage and Production Management ‘27. Sasha is so excited to be a part of the BlueJay family!! Emerson Stage credits include: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (2nd Assistant Stage Manager) and 16 Winters (Production Assistant).  Emerson College credits: BlueJay Theater Collective’s Significant Other (Assistant Stage Manager) and Kidding Around’s June July August (Assistant Stage Manager).
